Accommodation/Tenancy Assistance – NDIS (0101)
The NDIS Accommodation/Tenancy provides and assists Participants with housing and tenancy services, NDIS housing investment, renting in the private rental market, Public housing, and community housing options. NDIS brings amazing opportunities to navigate your life towards independence, helping you to achieve your daily and long-term goals that were not possible before NDIS.
Assistance in Coordinating or Managing Life Stages, Transitions, and Supports – NDIS (0106)
This NDIS Support group Includes short and long-term supports that focus on Participants’ individual needs, on strengthening Participants’ choices and abilities to coordinate their supports, and to assist them to live at home, maintain their independence, and participate in their community.
Assist with Daily Life (Self-Care) Activities – NDIS (0107)
Assist with Personal (Self-Care) activities provides Participants with assistance to make life comfortable and easy. Our qualified, passionate, and dedicated staff are well trained, friendly and will support you in ensuring that you achieve your daily living (self-care) goals. People who are older or suffer from disability may not be able to do their daily self-care activities effectively.
Assist with Travel/Transport – NDIS (0108)
At Abito Care and Support Services, we provide NDIS Participants who are unable to use the public transport system because of their disability, with Travel/Transport Support Services. Our transport assistance multicultural team of staff have valid driver’s licenses, they have had their police background checks done, and possess the valid qualifications.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) Accommodation and Support – NDIS (0115)
We understand that every home is different and that your needs are unique to you. Therefore, your Supported Independent Living (SIL) space should be too. That is why we ask and listen to what your preferences are for a home. We then support you to find and secure a comfortable accommodation to call home, that is as personal as you, and supports your desired lifestyle.
Short-Term Accommodation Respite – NDIS (0115)
Carers and families can have the chance to have a break and have time to do everyday activities, to relax, deal with stress and take care of themselves, thanks to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). That is why Respite is a valuable resource that benefits everyone. Our Short-Term Respite supports eligible participants to live in their own home or our comfortable respite accommodation for a short period of time.
Development-Life Skills – NDIS (0117)
At Abito Care and Support Services, through the Development Life Skills, we work with each of our NDIS participants to continuously develop their daily life skills both in the short and long term. By focusing on your own specific goals, we can support you to master the skills you need to achieve greater independence, confidence, and control.
Assistance with Daily Life (Household Tasks/Meals Preparation/House Maintenance) – NDIS (0120)
At Abito Care and Support Services, we can provide you with Household Tasks keep your inside and outside of your home environments safe, secure, clean and health. We can assist you with maintaining your environments on regular basis. This includes meals planning and preparation of your favourite and healthy meals in your own home, home and yard maintenance such as gardening and lawn mowing, cleaning of the bathroom, kitchen, toilet, living areas and bedroom, and in-home laundry.
Interpret/Translate Services – NDIS (0121)
The NDIS Interpret/Translate Support Services enable Participants from non-English speaking backgrounds to access language interpreting and translating services delivered by businesses such as the QITS Language Services. This registered interpreting service provider, QITS Language Services, offer both on-site and telephone interpreting/translating services in over 150 languages, across Australia.
Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities – NDIS (0125)
At Abito Care and Support Services, we understand that Participants value their engagements with their communities, and that accessing their communities is paramount to maintaining their complete health and wellbeing. Each Participant’s NDIS plan should aim to provide opportunities for participation in a range of activities.
